What we keep to run your account

• your Steam or Discord ID and display name;
• your devices: computer name, a technical key, the app version and the last connection time;
• your plan, access period, and the invite code or key you used.

Free-trial protection

When you start a free trial, the app computes one-way hashes of three hardware identifiers on your PC and sends only those. The identifiers themselves never leave your PC. On the server the hashes are keyed again and used only to stop one PC from taking the trial repeatedly.

Traffic and IP address

Only the traffic of the game you choose goes through our nodes, and we do not store its content. The app notes only that game's server addresses and discards all other connections at once. Our servers see your IP address because the connection needs it. We do not store it in the account database, but it can briefly appear in the servers' technical error logs.

Connection quality data (with your consent)

Only if you agree, the app sends data about boost sessions: the game, the route, ping, jitter and packet loss, route changes, errors, the app version, the connection type and your provider. It does not include website addresses or data from other apps. Sessions are kept for 90 days. You can withdraw consent in Settings.

Server ranges and node measurements (with your consent)

With the same consent, the app can report game-server ranges it finds. Home and mobile addresses are never reported, and the link between a report and your account is deleted after 90 days. Background measurements for choosing new nodes have a separate consent.

Payments

Card details are entered on the payment provider's page and do not pass through our servers. We keep the customer and subscription IDs, the subscription status and its end date. If you buy through a payment provider, it handles your payment data under its own policy.

Data on your PC

The app's settings, logs and working files are kept in the %APPDATA%\Accel folder. The folder keeps its earlier name for compatibility.

Retention and sharing

We keep account data while the account exists. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. It is shared only with suppliers the service cannot run without, such as hosting and the payment provider, or where the law requires it. This website has no advertising or analytics. Cookies are used only to sign in to your account page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, and you can object to processing. Write to support@winlag.org. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
